Draíocht Art as its name suggests brings a little touch of magic to Adare village with its wealth of original art by internationally recognised Irish artists and many aspiring talents. Draíocht is a must visit for those seeking quality art and craft items. The ever popular Jane Hilliard and Sheila Richardson are permanently on exhibit joining Charles Harper RHA, Syra Larkin, Mary Neville and Adare’s Henry Morgan.

Adare Heritage Art Gallery

The Art Gallery, based at the Dovecote Restaurant, exhibits works by local artists throughout the year, in oils and watercolours from local artists. The standard of paintings exhibited here is extremely high, and the subject matter in the main is of local landscapes and historical buildings. Featured also are still life, contemporary and abstract by budding local talent.

Adare Creative Craft Centre

Lil Buckley of Adare Creative Craft Centre is a Fused Glass Artist who also creates unique copper pipe lamps. Lil designs and crafts beautiful fused bowls, platters, jewellery & framed pieces.

Lil has been making beautiful copper pipe lamps and many other unique pieces for many years, suitable as gifts for all occasions and they make ideal Christmas gifts.

Manor Antiques

Manor Antiques, founded by the late Simon Quilligan, and now operated by his son Michael, have been supplying antiques to the trade and interior decorators worldwide for many years. It  is a “must visit” antique shop for visitors to Adare and it’s  not unusual to see visitors from all over the world browsing through the various well stocked rooms of furniture, paintings, antique Irish silver, books, toby jugs, etc.

 

 

Adare Paintings - Barry O'Riordan

Barry O Riordan, a native of Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, lives in the beautiful village of Adare with its many influential local scenes, which are a joy and inspiration to any artist. Over the past six years he has had solo exhibitions for the month of December in the Adare Heritage Centre and his work now hangs in many homes and businesses in Ireland, Europe and in many parts of the USA.
