Adare is located in County Limerick, 18km from Limerick city on the N21. It is a popular spot for visitors to the south west of Ireland as a base for visiting the stunning counties of Limerick, Kerry, Cork, Clare and Galway.
By car
Adare is located on the N21, the main road from Limerick City to Tralee and Killarney in County Kerry.
The village is approximately 20 mins by road from Limerick, 30 minutes from Shannon Airport, 1 hour 15 mins from Tralee and 1 hour 30 mins from Killarney.
Adare is an ideal location from where to visit the south west of Ireland and the Wild Atlantic Way.
Bus Eireann & Expressway
Bus Éireann and Expressway as the national bus company provide frequent services from Colbert Station in Limerick City to Adare. For passengers travelling to Kerry and the south the bus stops opposite Adare Heritage Centre and for those going to Limerick and Shannon Airport the bus stops outside Heritage Centre. Dublin Coach stops in the centre of the village of Adare 17 times every day on its M7 Service to Kerry from Dublin.
On route to Killarney and Tralee the coach stops in Newcastlewest and Abbeyfeale. Our coaches are climate controlled.
