Major Update on multi-million euro Adare Bypass Work on the design and construction of the Adare bypass is scheduled to kick off in the new year, Limerick City and County
A stone now marks the place on Adare Manor Golf Club Course where John Wesley preached, and the Methodists hold a Field Meeting there annually.
The first Methodist chapel in Adare was built in 1794 and the site of the chapel is marked on the 5th fairway in the Adare Manor Golf Club course. In 1873 the Countess of Dunraven laid the foundation stone of the present Methodist Church on the Black Abbey Road.
The weekly Sunday Services are as follows;
Jan – March, July-Sept – Adare @ 9:30am & Ballingrane @ 11:00am
April-June, October-December – Ballingrane @ 9:30am & Adare @ 11:00am
We also often have united services on the circuit which are at 11:00am.
