Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel in Adare has renewed their sponsorship for Limerick Ladies Football and camogie teams for 2023. To mark the occasion an event was hosted by the ‘Woodlands’ on Monday evening where all teams and coaches were in attendance.

The event was hosted by RTÉ GAA analyst Aoife Sheehan, who is also a former Limerick camogie player, with appearances from international sprinter Ciara Neville and former Cork GAA star Brid Stack.

The Fitzgerald’s have been a long standing supporter of both Limerick Ladies GAA and camogie teams in recent years and through this partnership aims to support women in sports and across broader society.

As a ‘dedicated supporter of women’s sports’, the hotel says it is ‘proud to continue their partnership with these talented athletes to realise their potential.’

Limerick’s junior football and both the senior and junior camogie teams benefit from this support through access to a health and leisure club, training gear and also hot meals post training and post matches.

In a press release confirming the news of their renewal of their sponsorship for season 2023, the Fitzgerald’s Woodlands House Hotel says it understands that proper nutrition plays a pivotal role in optimising performance and recovery.

That is why their expert culinary team had carefully curated menus that focus on providing balanced and nourishing meals for the last number of years.
