This year, we are thrilled to announce that Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel & Spa is marking a momentous occasion: 40 years of hosting our valued guests with warmth, comfort, and exceptional authentic family hospitality. Since its humble beginnings as a four-bedroomed bed and breakfast run by the visionary Mary and Dick Fitzgerald (RIP), our hotel has blossomed into a renowned 89-room, four-star resort, standing as a testament to their hard work and dedication to the community of Adare, Limerick, the Mid-West and beyond.

Over the years, Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel has grown in size and stature, always striving to exceed expectations. Over the past 4 decades our resort has undertaken many expansions and renovations, resulting in the addition of bedrooms, event suites and an iconic ballroom, leisure and spa facilities, landscaped gardens and more recently the Treehouse, Ireland’s No. 1 Outdoor Venue. We have also been working on advancing our sustainability story. We are still very much in visionary mode and we are looking forward to scripting the next chapters with you.

As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we want to extend a heartfelt invitation to all those who have graced our hotel’s doors over the past four decades. We would love to hear from you and invite you to share your cherished memories and photographs with us. If you have any moments captured during your time at Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel, please email them to Your contributions will help us commemorate this special occasion and reflect on the wonderful memories that have been made with us.
We are immensely grateful for the support and patronage we have received from our team, guests, and our local community throughout this incredible journey. It is through your continued loyalty and trust that Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel has flourished into the beloved establishment it is today.
Keep an eye on our socials as over the course of the next months, we will be marking the occasion by hosting a variety of events throughout the hotel and the local community.
Thank you for being a part of our story.
