Rose of Tralee, Sinead Flanagan and David Glynn were married on Friday last at Holy Trinity Church Adare. Limerick Rose Sinéad was crowned 2019 International Rose of Tralee. Sinéad was the third Limerick Rose to win the title in the 60 years of the festival. Sinead’s father hails from Roscommon and her mother comes from Cork but the Limerick Rose lived in Adare as a teenager. Sinead studied physiotherapy at University of Limerick before completing a degree in medicine from University College Cork.
When Sinead was crowned she commented on the upcoming claim to fame that awaits the village of Adare with the Ryder Cup being staged here in 2027 and added “Hopefully JP will sort out the bypass.”
