An Bord Pleanala has confirmed a decision on the proposed new road from Limerick to Foynes, including the Adare Bypass, has once again been postponed, according to the Limerick Leader.
A decision was due on the project last Friday May 27th.
However, the Limerick Leader has contacted the National appeals body which has now advised it has provisionally set a target date of Thursday 30th June for a decision on the application. The postponement now means that six deadlines have been missed by the Board. The continued delays in giving the green light for the project have given rise to deep frustration in Adare where 17,000 to 25,000 vehicles per day pass through.
