Funds raised on Daffodil Day in Adare which amounted to a staggering €6,653 will go towards the development of life-changing cancer research, as well as providing vital cancer support services to patients and their families, ensuring nobody has to go through cancer alone. Well done to Anne Droog and her team in Adare who dedicated their day to supporting cancer patients and their families across the country.
Daffodil Day organisers in Adare would like to thank everybody for their generous support. If you have taken part in this Irish Cancer Society Daffodil Day campaign, or if you’ve held your own fundraiser in your community and you have raised funds, thank you!
Each year thanks to the support of fantastic donors, volunteers and fundraisers people affected by cancer across Ireland are able to access free information, support and care. Because the Irish Cancer Society typically only receives 3% of its total funding from the Government, we rely on donations to help those facing cancer in Ireland. So, well done Adare for your generous support.« Plans for N20 Cork -Limerick road upgrade publishedTwo Adare Restaurants feature in Ireland’s 100 best restaurants for 2022. »
