Club activities continue in the Village Hall, including card playing at 7pm on Monday nights, and crafts to suit most tastes on Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons and evenings. There is also the weekly Wednesday walk at 2pm with tea and coffee served in the Hall afterwards.
The stars made by our club members for “Women against Violence” are currently on display at the Hunt Museum. Over a hundred baby bonnets made by the club were presented to the Maternity Hospital this week; baby matinee coats are next on the agenda for the same hospital. The club is a hive of activities with great camaraderie and is an outlet for women of all ages.
