Fr Chris O’Donnell chats to Dermot and Dave on Today FM about how priests and the Diocesan team in Limerick are trying new, creative ways of supporting people’s spiritual and pastoral needs during these challenging times.
From failed experiments with filters (!), to parishioners’ dynamic interaction during homilies, Fr Chris and his fellow priests are breaking new ground for connecting with people whilst we remain in the safety of our homes.
Father Chris from Adare originally trained as a primary teacher and taught in St Corban’s, Naas for three years. He was ordained for the Limerick Diocese in 2005. He spent 12 years working in youth ministry with Aoife Walsh in the Limerick Diocesan Pastoral Centre. In summer 2017 we was appointed to work in Veritas on the Grow in Love primary school religious textbook.
