The Manor Fields – Adare Recreation and Community Complex
As we all adapt to the new restrictions the Board & management wish to advise that The Manor Fields is open with limited pedestrian access.
As the car park is closed, we ask that people arrive on foot only. Cars are prohibited from parking on the approach roadway to allow for ambulance access.
In line with government guidelines we ask that people only use the Manor Fields ‘for brief individual exercise – within 2 kilometres of your house. (You can bring children but must keep 2 metres away from others for social distancing)’.
Staff will be on duty and we ask everyone to respect them and other users by adhering to physical distancing. Groups of people gathering is strictly prohibited. The playground is closed in line with government regulations.
Reports of government guidelines on distancing being disregarded, people using the playground or anti-social behaviour at the Manor Fields will result in it having to close to the public.
This is something that we do not want to do as we are conscious that many people & families do not have ready access to gardens & green spaces and depend on the Manor Fields for this.
Therefore we are asking for everyone’s co-operation at this time.
We remind dog walkers to pick up after their dogs and for everyone to keep the Manor Fields litter free. Smoking and chewing gum remain prohibited. Please use one way system around the Astro pitch.
Gardaí will be monitoring activity at the Manor Fields over the period.
We are aware that these are difficult times but together we will get through them.« Adare Community Council with the support of Adare Community Trust to assist with home deliveries.Draíocht online for Gifts and Art during closure. »
