The Carriage House at Adare Manor is delighted to host David Gleave, one of the world’s 330 Masters of Wine, for a spectacular wine dinner showcasing Italian wines from the Piedmont region on Thursday 23rd January.
The evening will focus on an exploration of six of the finest wines from the region of Piedmont, introduced by Gleave and paired with complementary courses designed by John O’Leary, The Carriage House Chef de Cuisine. Beginning with a canapé reception accompanied by a glass of Brachetto d’Acqui, dinner begins with a veal carpaccio starter with bagna cauda, capers and puntarella salad accompanied by Langhe Riesling Petracine. Main courses will include a cod risotto with Piedmont truffle accompanied by Langhe Chardonnay Bussiador, followed by venison with potato agnolotti, sage and jus gras partnered with glasses of Barbaresco and Barolo. A dessert of torte di nocciole with salted caramel ice cream will conclude the dinner, perfectly paired with a glass of Moscato d’Asti. This four-course dinner paired with six Italian wines from the Piedmont region hosted by Master of Wine David Gleave takes place in The Carriage House at Adare Manor on Thursday 23rd January at 6.00pm and tickets to this event are €90 per person.
