The Woodlands House hotel has been committed to reducing its energy consumption and carbon footprint through innovative techniques and by promoting a greener community within Adare and the wider Limerick Area. Here at the Woodlands we have invested in a Combined Heat and Power Plant, Solar Thermal Plates, High efficiency boilers and LED lighting. In addition to this, we are also very much focused on reusing and reducing the waste produced on site. In recent years we have been backed by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland to carry out energy reducing projects and we aim to reinvest the savings achieved by these projects, into improving the hotels overall efficiency and eco-friendliness.
