The team at Adare Manor are celebrating having picked up two coveted industry awards in just one busy week. The Oak Room was named Best Hotel Restaurant in Ireland at the FOOD&WINE Awards and The Tack Room was awarded Ireland’s Best Whiskey Experience at the Bar of the Year Awards.
The first award win came on Monday 19th August at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road Dublin when Ireland’s top industry bar professionals gathered for the presentation of this year’s 2019 Licensing World Magazine Bar of the Year Awards. The awards recognise bars across the island of Ireland that are operating at the highest levels of performance. On the night The Tack Room at Adare Manor was awarded Ireland’s Best Whiskey Experience.
The second award was presented on Sunday in The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin when The Oak Room was named Best Hotel Restaurant at the FOOD&WINE Awards. Now in their 19th year, the FOOD&WINE Awards are the most highly-anticipated awards for the hospitality industry, nominated by the public and considered for accolades by a national judging panel of industry experts, critics and peers. Helmed by chef Mike Tweedie, FOOD&WINE referred to The Oak Room as one of the finest dining locations in the west and commended their contemporary menus created with local Irish ingredients.
