Adare Manor is delighted to have received five nominations in this year’s prestigious FOOD&WINE Awards, in association with Rémy Martin, the annual celebration honouring those in restaurants across the country who are devoted to providing the best food experiences on the island.
Nominated for Best Restaurant in Munster for The Oak Room, Best Chef in Munster for chef Mike Tweedie in The Oak Room, Best Hotel Restaurant for The Oak Room, Sommelier of the Year for the resort’s head of the sommelier team (Wine & Spirits Manager), Jurica Gojevic and Best Restaurant Bartender for Ariel Sanecki in The Tack Room, the five awards will be announced along with the other remaining categories at the awards ceremony on Sunday August 25th in Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel.
Now in their 19th year, the FOOD&WINE Awards are the most highly-anticipated awards for the hospitality industry, nominated by the public and considered for accolades by a national judging panel of industry experts, critics and peers.
“We are delighted to have been nominated for five awards in this year’s FOOD&WINE Awards in association with Rémy Martin,” says Paul Heery, General Manager of Adare Manor. “For chef Mike Tweedie and all the team in The Oak Room, for Jurica and his team of sommeliers, for Ariel and his team in The Tack Room and for the F&B and culinary teams across the resort as a whole, these nominations are a wonderful acknowledgment of their hard work, creativity and dedication. We are in extremely good company in all our award categories, showing just how high the standard is across the island at present, and we are very much looking forward to catching up with friends and colleagues from across the industry at the awards ceremony in August.”
