Draíocht Art Gallery proudly hosts the second Open Air Painting Competition in Adare on Sunday 26th August 2018, after a very successful launch in 2017.
Set in the picturesque village of Adare, this competition gives you the opportunity to sit and paint among its old world historical charms beside the beautiful River Maigue. For many years artists flock here to capture its scenic beauty in paint, but this time to compete. The event welcomes all levels and abilities. Competitors must be aged 18 years. Sponsored prizes in excess of €1000 will be presented in six categories.
Entries will be accepted from August 1st-26th inclusive. Late entries will be accommodated at registration if space still available.
Competition numbers are strictly limited, so apply early. Early applicants fee €25 secures entry. Applicants later than Sunday August 20th pay €30. All entry fees are non-refundable. Entries may be posted on line or delivered in person to Draíocht, Station Rd, Adare.
This year’s entry fee nominated charity – St Gabriel’s Regional Respite Centre, Limerick.
