300 New jobs at Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort
The J P McManus owned five star Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort, which is currently undergoing a multi-million euro development and upgrading, has announced that it is to begin the recruitment of 300 new positions.
“The creation of 300 new jobs, following on from the over 600 construction jobs during the refurbishment works, is a huge boost for Co. Limerick and the wider Mid-West region. It’s also great to see the Adare Manor resort being redeveloped, given the importance and benefit of tourism to the region.” Mary Mitchell-O’Connor, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation
“Adare Manor resort will play a significant role in the marketability of Ireland abroad.” Patrick O’Donovan, Minister for Tourism and Sport.
McManus hopes to beat off competition from across Europe to host the Ryder Cup in 2026 at Adare Manor and Golf Resort, Ireland’s No.1 parkland Golf Course.
Adare offers visitors an excellent choice of fashion boutiques, stocking exclusive brands as the village is fast becoming the fashion centre of the mid-west of Ireland.
Last year saw the opening of three new ladies fashion boutiques in the village, Life and Soul, Earls and Pearls and Annettes, bringing the number of fashion outlets in Adare to thirteen. Kay Mulcaire has just completed a major extension to Isobel’s on the Main Street, testimony to her confidence in the future of the fashion trade in Adare. With the reopening of Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort in the autumn we hope to see a significant growth in tourists from abroad who will enjoy a fashion shopping experience of the highest quality.
